When To Schedule
One to four months prior to your wedding date is best! *PRO TIP-book your trial make up and hair appointment the same day as dress shopping or engagement photos. BEAUTY PREP INFO:Spray Tan- If you plan on having a spray tan for your wedding we HIGHLY recommend getting it done before your preview. We suggest booking it 2-3 days prior. *PRO TIP -Hydrated skin is ideal for spray tans so make sure you are moisturizing your body weeks before your tan to hydrate your skin. Our Spray Tan artists will guide you in achieving a flawless bridal glow! Skin Care- The key to a flawless makeup application begins with a great skin care routine months before your wedding day. Hydrated skin is happy skin! Increase your water intake, decrease coffee & alcohol. Exfoliate your skin lightly and use a good moisturizer the night before your appointment. Arrive with clean skin, do not apply any oils or serums.
PRO TIP- Establishing skin care regime of cleansing, exfoliating twice a week, moisturizing, and applying spf daily is a key detail in achieving great wedding day skin. See your esthetician ASAP to get your skin glowing! Need an esthetician? We have a few to refer! Brows & Waxing- Great brows can really make a difference in your face! They open and shape your eyes. Be sure to have any brow services; brow waxing, brow tinting or brow lamination done at least 3-4 days prior to your appointment.
If you have any facial waxing or sugaring done it must be done 3-4 days prior as well. *PRO TIP- have a trial run done of any new brow or waxing service done 1-2 months prior to your appointment to see if you like it or if any changes need to be made. |
What To Bring
We encourage you to wear white. Preferably a strapless top/dress, or a dress with a similar neckline to your dream wedding dress. *PRO TIP- Bring your veil, hair accessories, earrings, and any jewelry you want to wear on your wedding day. Hair Care -You must arrive to your trial appointment with clean, dry hair! Wash and blow dry the night before or morning of your preview. Avoid putting any styling products in your hair. *PRO TIP -Color and trim your hair within a week or two of your preview. You will also want to schedule a color touch up and trim for the same time frame prior to your wedding day. Hair Extensions- Considering extensions? Make sure to bring them to your trial appointment and wash them a week prior to your preview appointment with sulfate free shampoo. The extensions must be fully dry for your appointment.
*PRO TIP- Clip in extensions are a great option if you are looking to add thickness or length to your hair. They make an incredible difference in creating glam waves, braids or intricate hairstyles. *PRO TIP- Bring your extensions to your hair dresser when you schedule your cut and color/highlights. They can help blend and guide you on how to use. |
