FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Will I look orange?

While we know this is a fear, please know your end results are our biggest concern.  Our entire tanning staff is professionally trained and certified!  After taking into consideration your skin tone, eye color and your tan color goals and we will provide you with the perfect glow so your skin looks natural & even.

What should I wear to my appointment?

A comfortable, loose, dark outfit is ideal.

What do I wear during the tanning session?

Seriously, this is completely up to you!  Please wear whatever YOU are comfortable in, take into consideration the cut of your wedding dress and the tan lines you wish to have or NOT have. Most brides wear a thong & either a strapless bra, or no bra.

• Wear loose dark clothing before and after your appointment.{The bronzer may rub off on your clothing}
• Women may tan in a dark bathing suit or panties. 
• If it looks like rain or is raining please bring loose long pants and a long sleeve shirt to wear home. ​

HOW can I care for my tan after?

DO NOT shower or swim for at least 8 hours with a Custom Florida Girl Tan and  2-6 Hours if using Rapid Tan. 

• Wear loose clothing.  {A Robe or Maxi Dress is perfect or even sweat pants and a long sleeve shirt.  * No bra or socks}
• DO NOT get wet or participate in any activities that will make you sweat until after you shower. 
• For your first shower, at the time directed by your artist, only use a warm water rinse..... for all showers after that use a mild, oil free body wash. (No Dove, Victoria's Secret or Bath & Body products)  We recommend our Rituelle foaming wash
• NO HOT showers and Remember to Pat Dry.
• Apply our "Sunnie" moisturizer every day & our tan extender lotion "Caco" every other day starting on day 4,  {Moisturized skin extends the life of your tan}
• DO NOT apply lotion until after your 1st shower.  For Rapid Tans use lotion the next day.
• Avoid Saunas!
• Drink a lot of water daily. {stay hydrated}
• Wear a lotion based sunscreen when in the sun.
• When shaving with a Spray Tan always use a new razor. { A dull razor will compromise your tan.}

Can i choose how tan i want to be?

Of course!  With the help of your certified tanning artist you'll have a gorgeous color!

will the spray tan blend my tan lines?

It will definitely help!  Most times it does make your tan even.  

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE TO GET A SPRAY TAN?

• Exfoliate, Shave or wax at least 24 hours prior to your spray tan.  Do not use oil based or Dove products to wash with.  
• DO NOT use any deodorant, lotions, oils, perfumes or make up before your tan.
• Be sure to wash/exfoliate your skin AFTER washing your hair to ensure removal of shampoo & conditioner from your skin.  ​

When should i book my tan?

We suggest booking your spray tan appointment 2-3 days prior to your event.  Once you become familiar with the spray tanning process with us we will occasionally suggest 1-2 days before your event.  Call or text if you're not sure and we can guide you.
